38mm round aluminium poles roughly 1 – 1.3m apart support the tarpaulin over the pool and this allows it to be the most child and pet safe of all the covers.
The canvas we use is a 600gsm tarpaulin, that is constructed of high tensile polyester yarn coated on both sides with PVC.
The underside has a black PVC that has been treated with an antibacterial and antifungal coating. This is critical as covers that have the same colour on both sides have not been specifically designed for swimming pools, and have a VERY short lifespan.
The cover is secured on one end of the pool with stainless steel clips that are bolted into the paving/coping and then tightened on the opposite end with stainless steel ratchets.
